The new version , the model "MX", of the Codec-Mixer 2400 is a Studio-quality digital audio system.
robust and reliable. It is manufactured for hard use during many years. It has aircraft quality aluminum cabinet, very light and resistant

It has input / output USB to connect to Netbooks and Tablets. Also features a new internal CPU allowing use of the 3G/4G cellular modems to transmit wirelessly to the Internet.
All potentiometers are conductive ceramic of one million operations (100 times more than your current console ...)

The use of very low-power integrated amplifiers of the kind used at the spacecrafts, allows you to have 16 hours of continuous use with NI-Metal rechargeable batteries.
Even in case of feeding the internal CPU plus the external 3G modem may be obtained over 6 hours autonomy




  

It has inputs for five MIC balanced, with 48V Phantom ,
3 balanced lines and one stereo unbalanced line.
6 stereo jacks outputs for 6 handsets with internal distributor amplifier.
It has Analog stereo outputs and mono balanced, as well as Digital Ethernet output for direct connection to Internet via streaming audio TCP/IP in mono or stereo.
Using a 3G/4G standard modem it can be connected to the cellular Internet network . It allows broadcasting from anywhere in
the world without costly links
It does not require an expensive decoder at the radio studio, because any PC connected at Internet can be used.

MX2400 encodes using standard MP3 audio streaming reproduced by Windows Media Player, Winamp or any other free software
MX 2400 allows simultaneous analog and digital transmissions. It uses internal telephone hybrid for terrestrial line or cellular phones wirelessly connected by Bluetooth.

All the connectors are standard XLR and 6.35mm jacks.
The channels 3, 4 and 5 have dual connectors that let you enter a MIC using XLR or a Stereo jack for line use

Any journalist can perform this operation
At studio you can receive the audio console using
existing PC for Internet use.
The MX2400 is heard as a MP3 audio streaming without
the use special decoders
 
Latency (delay time): The MX2400 has only an imperceptible
delay of 20 - 40 millisecond . Added to this is the delay. due to Internet
The total value will typically be: 0.5 to 5 seconds. It is OK for sports transmission
But for interviews, it may be switched to
mode: "Cellphone + VQR" that has zero delay, but accepting
a slight deterioration in sound quality
 

 

Wireless operation 100% standalone

The MX2400 can use a 3G/4G modem that is supplied
free of charge by the cellular phone companies.

It is also possible to use the WiFi network that is provided in
snak bars, shopping centers and hotels
